Someone registered my brand as a domain. Can I get it back?
Often, yes. For .com and other generic domains, the UDRP lets you claim a domain registered and used in bad faith. Country domains such as .tr have their own dispute procedures.
Do I need a registered trademark first?
It makes a dispute much stronger. Under the UDRP the complainant must show rights in a mark, and a registration is the clearest proof.
